The Beach

Day 3 of vacation was sad.  Kylee started complaining about her ear hurting when we were flying to Florida.  I figured it was the pressure from the cabin and gave her some gum to chew to help.  A couple times throughout Hollywood Studios she complained again...and then that night she was up most of the night, saying her ear hurt.  So, day 3 consisted of trying to find a doctor to see Kylee.  After a long and expensive wait in the Urgent Care, we got Kylee some antibiotics and a great little nap.  That night we walked around Downtown Disney and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Rainforest Cafe.  It wasn't how we had planned to spend that day, but it was still lots of fun. 

Day 4 and 5 were spent ON THE BEACH!!!

Day 4 we went to Daytona Beach. 

The kids LOVED the waves and running from them. 

Cannon decided he was just going to SURF them instead of running. 

He kept telling me he was good at surfing. 

I love my penguins swim suit. 

The water at Daytona was very warm and fun, but the sad was hard and not very good for making sand castles.  We still had a very enjoyable time at Daytona Beach. 

Day 5 we went to Clearwater beach instead. 

Clearwater is home of the dolphin "Winter" from Dolphin tale.  We didn't go see him, but saw the aquarium he is at. 

The sand at Clearwater is AWESOME!!!!

So soft and white.

And PERFECT for sand castles,

and for burying yourself in.  :) 

That evening as we drove home it was the night of the super moon.  I didn't get any good pictures of it, but it was really neat to see it coming out over the coast. 

I love the beach!!!
