Family Night

It's not very often Curtis and I are together with our kids.  :(  We often joke about being roommates and co-parents instead of husband and wife.  Sad...but it's true.  We do what we can to make the very best of our situation and it is wonderful for our kids to have daddy or mommy with them so much more now.  They just don't get the two of us together as much.  So we really value our family nights.  We recently went down to the South Davis Rec Center and took advantage of their fun ice.  Cannon got his first pair of hockey skates and it was fun to see him get so excited about getting on the ice.   

The rec center had these cool little "walkers" that the kids were able to use to help them get the hang of it.  Cannon didn't want to use the walkers, he wanted to just take off like dad did, and would get really mad when he couldn't just naturally skate.  He started to get the hang of it by the end though. 

After skating we make a quick trip to Pace's for some ice cream. 

It was a fun family night.
