On Cannon's actual birthday we were in St. George so we went to this cute little cup cake shop and got a bunch of cup cakes and sang Happy Birthday to him right there in the bakery. They didn't have any candles for him to blow out, but he didn't mind. They were really yummy cup cakes...

and as you can see Cannon really enjoyed his.

Later on we went to Red Robin for his birthday dinner and the poor sweet little guy had such a fun day playing in the water at the park and such he couldn't keep his eyes open.

After a quick snooze he woke up, ate some dinner, and then got sung to by the people at Red Robin. He loved the balloon and the ice cream sundae they brought out to him.

He even shared it with all of us.

Then Monday night when we got home we met at my mom's to celebrate with the family. Grandma had got him this adorable cake with cars on it (which he loved).

Even if the cake did say
CONNON. ? Silly cake people.

And he finally got to blow out some candles.

And open some presents.

Cannon, you really are the sweetest thing.
I love that messy face of yours and wouldn't change a thing about you.
I can't believe you are already 2 and can't wait to see what new things you learn each day.
LOVE YOU CANNON!
