After the cheese factory we headed to Cape Meares. It is another gorgeous place with amazing views and scenery. It reminded me of the closing scene in Goonies. It was really raining at this point but we had our hoodies and were warm so we didn't care too much. It made the hiking a little muddy, but that just made it more fun.
We loved the lighthouse. Sadly we couldn't go up into it because just a few months ago some dough head decided to shoot out some of the windows and a 190 year-old crystal from France that used to make the lighthouse shine forth into the ocean. Very sad.
She is so dang cute!
And so is he!!! 
There is a very short hike from the lighthouse to an awesome OCTOPUS TREE. Cannon thought it was so neat and really wanted to climb on it. Kylee didn't like it so much because she thought it was going to move like the tree on Harry Potter. That girl remembers EVERYTHING and cracks me up with the things she thinks of.
It's so neat to see so many wonderful creations all at the same time. 
What a fun and beautiful place Cape Meares is. We were pretty wet and muddy by the end of the hike, but it was worth it.
